Terms of Service

Version 2026-06-01 · Zimbabwe

Draft for review. This is a working template to be finalised with a registered Zimbabwean legal practitioner before launch. It reflects OliveGiving's intended operating model, not final legal advice.

1. About OliveGiving

OliveGiving (Pvt) Ltd operates a technology platform that enables donors to contribute to fundraising campaigns in Zimbabwe. We facilitate payments through licensed providers; we are not a bank or a payment system operator.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information and verify your email address. Campaign organisers must complete identity verification (KYC) before a campaign can receive funds. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.

3. Fees

A platform fee applies to donations and is disclosed in full at checkout before you pay. Payment providers may charge their own processing fees. All fees are shown on the donation summary and your receipt.

4. Refunds & reversals

Donations are generally final. Where a campaign is found to be fraudulent, or where required by law, we may reverse a payment to the original donor. Refund requests are handled case by case in line with the Consumer Protection Act.

5. Campaign integrity

Every campaign is reviewed before it goes live. You may not create fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful campaigns. We may request supporting documents and remove campaigns at our discretion.

6. Compliance

We operate under Zimbabwean law including the NPS Act, Money Laundering and Proceeds of Crime Act, and the Cyber and Data Protection Act. We may report suspicious activity to the Financial Intelligence Unit as required.
